Innoflow SDG Report 2020


Instead of having a wide range of projects, we have decided to narrow it down, focusing on the actions that will create the biggest impact. We will dedicate time to the goals described below to make sure that we always keep our promises and deliver valuable results. By using the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations, we will express our vision and be transparent about what we are doing and planning to do in order to achieve those goals.


The Sustainable Development Goals are a set of 17 interconnected goals designed as a blueprint for achieving a “better and more sustainable future for all”.

We practice what we preach at Innoflow. So, as a business, we choose to take on the responsibility and support this initiative. 

We work sincerely and actively to support and drive change in these two areas – SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 10 (Reduced inequalities) which fall within the scope of our vision: 

A world with equal opportunities for all to get a meaningful work life.

This report is a mean to share our goals and vision to different stakeholders. It presents how we have and will be implementing the chosen goals in the specific actions we take.

For many years, companies have been hiring people based on CV’s and cover letters. The problem with this is that it is human nature to form biased opinions and views, especially when hiring people. By using anonymised case solving, we remove that bias. Everyone deserves to be treated equally.

How do we support

our chosen goals?

Code of Conduct

We feel responsible for all direct and indirect stakeholders, and we therefore want to inspire and encourage our customers to set a good example by treating the end-users of Innoflow equally and fairly. For this reason, we have developed a ”Code of Conduct”. This document consists of a set of behavioral recommendations to ensure that everyone, who recruits or participates in case competition events powered by Innoflow, gets a positive experience.

Our software

Unbiased recruitment

In order to guarantee that Innoflow-powered recruitment processes are completely anonymous and unbiased, we have made sure that no personal data can, nor will be collected from the candidates until the solution assessment is over.


We want our software to be accessible to everyone, regardless of how our users interact with the web. In order to further develop our vision: “A world with equal opportunities for all to get a meaningful work life”, we have committed to improve our product from an accessibility standpoint. It does not matter if you cannot handle a mouse or see colours, an online widget provided by EqualWeb will make it easier for you to access and use our case-solving tool. Here are a few features:

  • Screen-reader optimisation for blind users
  • Keyboard navigation optimisation for the motor impaired
  • On-page, live dictionary/glossary for people with cognitive disorders
  • Stopping all flashing animations to prevent epileptic seizures
  • UI adjustments for the visually impaired

By doing so, we believe that we can build a stronger relationship within our community and ensure inclusive experiences for all users.

Selected customer cases


70% of the employees at Mindmill Digital Marketing Agency are male, including its hiring managers. Mindmill was recruiting an Inbound Marketing Specialist. When looking at the business, the role was predominantly held by male employees.


After Innoflow’s anonymous screening, it was revealed that 7 out of the 10 final candidates were women, as well as the candidate they chose to hire. Mindmill agreed that Innoflow’s platform enabled the company to hire the most qualified candidate who most likely would have been deselected if it had done a regular resumé screening.


Atea, an IT-corporate consisting mainly of male employees and two hiring managers who are also males, was recruiting for their Cloud Graduate Program. Usually, the company’s recruitment procedures disqualify women as 4 out of 5 job finalists are male.


Atea’s five final candidates with the best-scored solutions were all hired. The company therefore increased the diversity in the workplace by hiring two women and three men, who would not have been hired based on the former screening processes.

Other actions


Here at Innoflow, we encourage and enable our employees to offer their professional support to non-profit projects aiming at improving work environments and/or reducing inequalities.


Innoflow is part of a campaign initiated by The Danish Authority to attract more women to the tech industry. By using an anonymized and case-based approach, Innoflow prevents unconscious bias in the candidate-screening-process thus ensures a fair recruitment process.
